Just minutes from Santa Cruz and Monterey (map), The Freedom Rose House  is located on the central California coast. Our home is a beautifully restored 1880's-era Queen Anne Victorian. 

Our pride and joy is a 10,000 volume cookbook library established by the late Jean Fortenbery, a columnist for the Register-Pajaronian newspaper. It's open to the public for casual browsing or research by appointment.
